As a distinguished case maker back in the day, Squale is no stranger in producing beautiful and robust watch cases. The Squale Sub-37 Legend is housed in a robust 316L highly-polished stainless steel case inspired by Squale models from back in the 1960s, a meticulously designed piece of art that remained timeless, even by today's standards. Coming in a size that rests perfectly between a contemporary tool watch and an elegant vintage timepiece, the 38.5mm diameter (including bezel) wears exceptionally well on the wrist as a result of its gently curved lugs bearing a lug to lug distance of 45mm and a case thickness of merely 11.2mm.

The Squale Sub-37 Legend features a unidirectional 60-minute bezel for the reading of an additional time zone. Mimicking the glossy sheen of bakelite bezels prominent in '60s dive watches, the black K1 glass insert exhibits a warm lustre, complementing the vintage brown bezel markers - pulling off an imposing aged look. At the 3 o'clock position, screw-down crown grants a smooth and easy operation when setting the time. On top of that, it is signed gorgeously with the prestigious "von Büren" logo, a symbol of pride in its quality.

Together with the screw-down crown, the Squale Sub-37 Legend is equipped with a screw-in stainless steel case back etched with Squale's classic shark logo. This achieves a substantial 300m of water resistance despite its slim and elegant case profile.

The black dial of the Squale Sub-37 Legend showcases an understated beauty with a simple and incredibly legible layout, consisting of only vital elements without unnecessary clutter. For a handsome retro touch, the hour indices, as well as the hour, minute hands and bezel markers are treated generously with Swiss Super-LumiNova "Old Radium" lume, capturing the aged look of vintage '60s timepieces while emitting a strong visible glow in the dark.

The Squale Sub-37 Legend arrives on a matching 19mm black Bonetto rubber strap, a high-performance band engineered for both strength and resilience. Its design features a continuous airflow system to keep the skin dry without compromising the strap's natural ergonomics or comfort. To complete the look, it is fitted with a high-polish steel buckle that mirrors the mirror-finished artistry of the case itself.
