One that stands out to collectors around the world and known for one of great value for money Japanese Domestic Model(JDM) is their dive watches.

Seiko's dive watch legacy began in the 1960s, with iconic models like the 6215-7000 and 6159-7001 setting new standards for professional diving timepieces. These early creations showcased Seiko's innovative monocoque casing and high-frequency movements, laying the groundwork for the revered Marinemaster lineup. Today, we introduce the new Seiko Prospex Marinemaster Blue Ref. SBEN007 with all the lovable features from the well-known Marinemaster series.

The 200m water resistant Marinemaster brushed stainless steel case embodies the beautiful craftsmanship and fluid line highlighted by polished edges. Measuring 39.5mm in diameter, a lug to lug length of 47.2mm, and a height of about 12.3mm, with a lug width of 20mm. Surrounded by a dark blue steel bezel has prominently white painted 60-minute markings and a circular pip at the 12 oclock. It rotates buttery smooth into 120 positions has zero free play in a clockwise direction. The screw-down crown at 3 o'clock now has a sterile approach while still allowing one to make time adjustment with ease. Finished off with a scratch proof sapphire crystal to ensure that the well textured dial is always in view.

Moving to the light blue dial of the watch, it features horizontal lines that runs along one side to another. With white applied rectangle hour indices, fitted with a hour, minute and even the second hands filled with lumibrite, ensuring you are able to tell the time accurately despite the lighting conditions. A small, circled window date complication is placed between the 4-5 o'clock markers as well. To top off the watch, Seiko Marinemaster is featured at the top and the classic Prospex logo with automatic diver's 200m is placed below, ensuring perfect balance on the watch. Ultimately achieving an aesthetically pleasing and balanced look whilst ensuring functionality.

Onto the back of the watch, the polished open case fitted with a sapphire crystal case back which allows 200m water-resistant. With Seiko's signature written at the bottom, you can appreciate all the fine details from the watch specifications to the 6 series movement, to the finishing on the movements.

The Seiko Prospex Marinemaster Blue Ref. SBEN007 is powered by Seiko's famous 6 series automatic caliber, 6L37. It still operates at 28,800 BPH (4 Hertz) with hacking, self0winding and hand winding capabilities. Its features an increase of jewels to 26 and a power reserve of 45 hours. Seiko collectors proudly admire the 7S and 6R family as one of their best in-house manufactured calibers found in their watches.
