Mido Multifort M Grey Ref. M038.430.17.081.00 |
Mido draws its inspiration for the Multifort collection from the architecture of the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Multifort and the Harbour Bridge are contemporaries, as both created in the 1930s. Offering the perfect combination of style and substance, function, and aesthetics, Mido celebrates this ultra-resistant, enduring monument with its instantly recognizable design features. But the robustness and exceptional longevity of this collection, which has been in production for the past 85 years, also define the Multifort as a creation that has stood the test of time.
Thanks to its 42mm-diameter and 11mm thick stainless steel case, the Multifort M brilliantly weathers the passage of time. Its polished horns and bezel contrast with its satin-finished sides for an added touch of refinement. The domed sapphire crystal, with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, provides a clear view of the bark-textured grey dial. Perfect for both daily life and adrenaline-fuelled adventures, the Multifort M displays particularly useful information, including the day of the week and the date in an aperture at 3 o’clock. The hour and minute hands and the applied hour indexes present captivating surface contrasts. The vertical tree-bark texture mean accentuates the dial appearance in either darker or lighter depth depending on the light Top off with the minute rehaut, the watch lends a sporty vibe which balanced with its otherwise elegant dial. Lastly, white Super-LumiNova ensures easy readability in the dark - essential for facing the urban jungle, whatever the circumstances.
