Orient Bambino SG60 Bundle Set - Ltd Ed 600pcs Ref. RA-AC0M18S / RA-AC0M19S |
2025 marks a monumental milestone—the 60th anniversary of Singapore's independence. A decade ago, Orient celebrated SG50 with a special edition timepiece, and now the legacy continues. BIG Time Singapore proudly collaborates with Orient once again to present a stunning SG60 limited edition set of 38mm Orient Bambinos. The stainless steel model bears the reference RA-AC0M19S, while the rose gold version carries RA-AC0M18S. This commemorative release was born from a deep respect for Singapore's journey, taking nearly two years of meticulous planning, countless design refinements, and final approval from Japan before it was brought to life. The result is a true collector's piece that beautifully celebrates history, heritage, and horology in one elegant package.
To start off, this special release is based on the newer 38mm Bambino model, offering a more refined and versatile size compared to the 40mm variant used for the SG50 edition in 2015. The exceptional attention to detail is immediately clear in the beautifully finished stainless steel case, where a polished surface is enhanced by a finely bevelled edge that stretches gracefully from lug to lug. This subtle yet striking design element adds depth and a luxurious character, elevating the watch's classic charm while paying elegant tribute to Singapore's 60th year of independence.

Orient in-house caliber F6724 automatic movement |
This SG60 duo includes one with a classic steel case (RA-AC0M19S), while the other stands out with a newly designed rose gold case (RA-AC0M18S), a feature exclusive to this commemorative edition and not found on the regular 38mm Bambino.
The high-polish finish of the case contrasts beautifully with the satin-brushed sides, creating a dynamic interplay of textures that enhances the watch's elegant profile. With a 38mm diameter, a thickness of 12.5mm, and a lug-to-lug distance of 44mm, the SG60 Edition strikes a well-balanced and delicate size that suits a wide range of wrist sizes. The gently curved lugs ensure a comfortable fit, allowing the watch to sit naturally on the wrist. It features a traditional push-pull crown that complements its vintage-inspired design, while the 30-meter water resistance makes it perfectly suited for everyday wear, all while retaining a dressy charm worthy of this national milestone.

Polished stainless steel case receives a highly finished bevelled edge |
Without a doubt, the star of the show is the magnificent dial of the Orient SG60 Edition. Beneath the glass crystal lies an elegant off-white dial, finished with a subtle brushing that adds depth and a sense of refined vintage charm. The dial features a graceful pie-pan contour, curving gently toward the edges to evoke timeless sophistication. Rose gold-toned indices sit beautifully around the dial, matched by a pair of polished dauphine hands that catch the light with every glance. A clean minute track on the rehaut frames the dial, enhancing its minimalistic and vintage-inspired aesthetic.
At 3 o'clock, a discreet date window is seamlessly integrated into the design, adding functionality without disrupting the dial's harmony. Completing this celebratory masterpiece, the words "Singapore" and "60 Years of Independence Since 1965" are elegantly printed—an enduring tribute to this historic milestone.
