A Great Evening with the Local WatchCrunch Community
Event Highlights.
Published by: Samuel Ng
Last Sunday, on 12 July, we had the pleasure of co-hosting the very first WatchCrunch Singapore Get Together, bringing the online community of watch enthusiasts together in person for an evening of conversation and camaraderie.
Before dinner, our Gnomon Watches boutique welcomed members of the WatchCrunch community for a relaxed gathering over light refreshments, sparkling drinks, and small bites. More than anything, it was a wonderful reminder of what makes this hobby so special. The WatchCrunch community is an incredibly close knit and welcoming group, where conversations flow as naturally between first time attendees as they do among long time friends.
The room was filled with enthusiasts from every corner of the hobby, from those discovering independent watchmaking to seasoned collectors with decades of experience. Yet everyone shared the same passion, creating an atmosphere where stories, ideas, and watches were exchanged with genuine enthusiasm. As always, there was no shortage of remarkable timepieces to admire, a few of which you’ll find in the photographs below.
Before we let the images tell the rest of the story, we’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us, and a special thank you to Daniel for choosing our boutique as the venue for this inaugural gathering. We truly enjoyed spending the evening with all of you and look forward to many more opportunities to share conversations about everything from emerging independent makers to the icons of mainstream watchmaking.
