Yema, an unsuspecting name coined by Henry Louis Belmont during a school contest back in his teenage years, goes on to attain a massive following throughout its 72 years of watchmaking. Graduating at the top of his class in the National Watchmaking School of Besançon, Belmont lives up to his title with exquisite timepieces that are out of this world, literally, when the Yema Spationaute flew to space on astronaut Jean-Loup Chrétien's wrist.
Buckle your seatbelts as Yema introduces the newest addition to her aviator watch collection, the Yema Flygraf Pilot. Dating all the way back to the 1970s, Yema's Flygraf chronographs are crafted in close collaboration with pilot watch enthusiasts and professional pilots to reach the greatest heights in the watch industry. Designed jointly with professional aerobatic pilot Sammy Mason who at age 19 became the youngest member of the US National Advanced Aerobatic Team, this timepiece draws inspiration from both Flieger and military field watches from World War II.

The case of this watch is made of robust 316L stainless steel, satin-brushed to gleaming perfection. This sleek watch case is complemented with a brushed steel bezel for a more sporty appeal. More than that the eye capturing angular lugs is a distinctive detail in the case architectural construction. It flows seamlessly from the case, giving the watch a bold, utilitarian stance that embodies the pilot's tool-watch heritage. Beyond aesthetics, these sharp lug facets are carefully proportioned to ensure the watch sits naturally and comfortably on the wrist, balancing striking design with everyday wearability. The polished finish of the case paired with a subtly circular-brushed bezel, creates refined contrasts that enhance light play and elegance.
