Norqain joins the Gnomon family of watch brands

As the selection of brands on the Gnomon site continues to expand over the years, another young and emerging Swiss watch company stood out to us as a brand committed to creating impressive Swiss-made watches packing a whole lot of value for money; a common trait that Gnomon Watches holds dear as reflected in many of the amazing brands we offer. Taking another valiant step forward towards bringing an added value for the site and to all our cherished shoppers, we’re welcoming the latest addition to our ever-growing selection of watch brands on Gnomon Watches: Norqain.

Despite being a rather new name that only made its emergence 3 years ago in 2018, Norqain has already been shaking up the watch industry with its immense presence brought by their breathtaking watches. Founded by CEO Ben Küffer at the heart of Swiss Watchmaking in Nidau (Biel/Bienne) after leaving his long-standing position at Breitling, Norqain was the result of realizing his vision to build his very own family-owned and independent Swiss watch brand. Remarkably, the brand managed to earn the respect and admiration of watch collectors all over the world for its incredibly high production standards, absolute attention to detail and a unique identity built around Norqain’s range of in-house designed luxury automatic sports watches offering some serious value at its price range.

The Küffer family has held a 4-decade-long tradition of producing Swiss-made watches, with the current Chairman of the Board, and also the father of CEO Ben Küffer, Marc Küffer is equipped with over 45 years of experience in the manufacturing of Swiss luxury watches. He was also a member of the Board of the Swiss Watch Industry Association for more than 25 years. Embracing the family’s strong passion and extensive experience for mechanical watchmaking, The word ‘Norqain’ is the acronym of the brand’s core values reflected in all of Norqain timepiece:

Drawing inspiration from the Swiss mountains, the Norqain logo represents two letter N’s, symbolizing the peak of the mountain which embraces the brand’s close connection to their Swiss roots.

Built to meet the highest Swiss watchmaking standards, Norqain continuously invests in the quality of their products with all of Norqain’s watches hand-assembled and tested by expert watchmakers to ensure adherence to strict quality standards in terms of precision, functionality and robustness. Norqain watches are divided into three core collections: Adventure, Freedom and Independence, each carrying their own unique character in design and visual aesthetics.
